Emma and Michael were married at Middleton Hall, a grand manor house at Belford in Northumberland, in February 2016.
Emma had her bridal prep in one of the gorgeous rooms upstairs which had fabulous views from the windows. It was a lovely, light and airy room with a lovely four poster bed. Emma was very calm and relaxed for her preparations and it wasn’t long before the ceremony was to start. Emma descended the huge staircase with her bridesmaids and met Michael in the grand hall below where the ceremony was to take place. It was a fantastic room. The vows were lovely and after they exchanged rings and had a beautiful first kiss they went outside for some family pictures. We captured some fun confetti shots and then we took Emma and Michael around the grounds and then back inside for some more images. The variety in backdrops at this venue is fantastic due to the fabulous grounds and the exquisite décor inside. The place nearly set a light when a candle lit up a menu but a quick-thinking bridesmaid made a dash for the door and all was ok! The speeches were very emotional and thought provoking, they were lovely. We left Michael and Emma to continue with their celebrations late in to the evening.
It was a wonderful, fun day.
