Hotel du Vin, Newcastle upon Tyne wedding photography
Marlane and Mark were married at the Hotel Du Vin, a fabulous hotel very close to the Quayside in Newcastle.
Marlane and Mark both got ready at the hotel. The hotel has fantastic huge rooms to do this and they are perfect for the first photos of the big day. Marlane had quite a few bridesmaids but they were all ready on time and they looked amazing. Marlane’s lace wedding dress was fabulous, her flowers were very pretty with white, peach, pink and cream roses, gyp, veronica and eucalyptus. Mark had time to have a drink with the boys outside in the sunshine. He was the ready and waiting for his gorgeous bride to arrive. Marlane walked down the aisle accompanied by her father. There were a few tears from a very overwhelmed Marlane but these turned to beaming smiles when their vows were said and rings exchanged.
After the ceremony we whisked Marlane and mark down to the Quayside. The weather had turned a bit windy but we still achieved some amazing shots with the Millennium bridge, the Tyne bridge, The Baltic and The Sage in the distance. The beauty of hotel Du Vin is not only it’s ability to cater for every weather at an occasion but also it’s proximity to such stunning backdrops. We just had to take a fun picture of Marlane pretending to chase Mark who was riding on the hotel’s stationary bike! The speeches were heartfelt and funny, there were more happy tears. They had a fabulous high tea spread with sandwiches and scones. It looked fabulous with the vintage tea sets.
The happy couple had a singer for their evening entertainment and enjoyed some fabulous dancing for the rest of the night. It was a perfect day.
